Balance & Hope
Kimberlee talks about Balance
Addiction comes from unbalance in the life areas: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social, environmental, and financial. When there is a void in one of these areas, addiction can fill it.
When a person actively fills or participates in an activity that attends to an area, there is no void or need to fill . Life becomes full, becomes balanced.
Fill Needs
There are many things to do to attend to these areas of life. Activities, projects, or interventions can fill more than one area at a time. For example, a job may fill physical, mental, social, environmental and financial needs all at once.
Achieve Balance
Achieving balance across the seven key areas of life—often described as a "whole-person concept"—is essential for sustained happiness, health, and professional success. Rather than aiming for perfect, true balance involves intentionally nurturing each area to create a harmonious "wheel of life" that rolls smoothly, rather than a bumpy ride.
Mike talks about Hope
Hope can mean different things for each individual. Hope is essential to give a person the will to move forward and grow in their life.
Hope, even a little ray of hope, can be supported and grown into a full life and a happy future.
Hope sees the invisible, feels the intangible, and achieves the impossible.
HOPE Stands for:
Hold On Pain Ends
Help Open People's Eyes
Help Other People Evolve
Helping Other People Everyday
Hang On! Peace Exists
Heart Open; Please Enter
And much more…
